JON SECADA SIGNS
WITH BIG3 ENTERTAINMENT

"WINDOW TO MY HEART" GOES TO RADIO FIRST WEEK IN JULY ON BIG3 RECORDS, "DÉJATE AMAR" TO FOLLOW
NEW ALBUM SET FOR RELEASE OCTOBER 25th
Miami, FL – June 29, 2005 – Two time Grammy winning performer/songwriter Jon Secada
and Bill Edwards, Chairman/CEO of Big3 Entertainment, LLC announced today that Edwards
has signed the 20 million selling Secada to a management agreement with Florida based
Big3 Entertainment, LLOC (Okie Dokie Management) and a multi-album deal with Big3
Records. Jon's first album for Big3 will be released in the fall. The first single
from the album will be released in English and Spanish: "Window To My Heart" goes to
radio early July and "Déjate Amar" will follow thereafter.
In making the announcement, Edwards said "Jon's talent as a singer and songwriter is
limitless. He is one of the most gracious men in our business. I am going to be very
involved in seeing that he has the opportunity and resources to achieve the success
his music deserves. I envision a long and fruitful career for Jon, making music and
touring and becoming the next superstar with a permanent performing base in Las Vegas."
Secada said, "Bill's insight and acumen impressed me from the very beginning. He is
a brilliant strategist, has a great feel for the music and tremendous instincts as a
producer as well. He and his team have great ideas and the energy to see them
through. I am very excited that he has chosen to be so very personally involved in my career."
Jon Secada was born in Cuba and moved to Miami with his parents at age 9. He
earned a B.A. and M.A. in Jazz Vocal Performance at the University of Miami and
went on to become both an English language pop star and one of Latin music's
hottest stars. His smooth mix of R&B, Pop and Latin music earned him sales of over
20 million albums and two Grammy awards. He is also a chart topping singer in English
and Spanish, penning hits for Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and others.
This is his first management relationship since parting with Emilio Estefan with whom
he continues a great friendship and has shared many successes over the years. Secada
was recently in Hollywood as Estefan's guest when he received his Star on the Hollywood
Walk of Fame.
Bill Edwards, Chairman/CEO of Big3 Entertainment, LLC and Chairman/CEO of financial
mega-giant Mortgage Investors Corporation, along with countless successful subsidiaries
housed by these two companies, is an accomplished musician and true to life
"rags to riches" story.
After purchasing Mortgage Investors Corporation (MIC) in 1994 on nothing more than a
