2005 is a special year for Treasure Island. The City is commemorating its 50th anniversary of incorporation on May 3, 2005 and has planned a month long
celebration with events for the community each weekend. The "TI Five-O" events will begin at the beginning of May and end with the Sun, Sand & Symphony

Bring your beach blanket or lawn chairs and be prepared for a Golden Anniversary musical experience like no other!
Jon Secada, one of the most gifted artists of our time, not only blessed with a soulful voice, but also with an artistry to create, write and produce
music, is a two-time Grammy award winner. His self-titled debut album sold an astonishing six million copies worldwide and was certified triple platinum
in the U.S. where it reached #15 among Billboard Pop albums. The Spanish-language album, Otro Dia Mas Sin Verte, became the #1 Latin Album of 1992. In
total, Jon has amassed a career sales total of more than 20 million albums worldwide.
Up and coming female Country artist Joey Daniels has been named "Who To Watch In 2005" by the Country Music Association's Close Up Magazine, issued in
Feb/March 2005. Joey's debut album Take Me Off The Market will hit stores this fall and is a perfect blend of feel-good songs and powerhouse ballads.
The debut was proudly co-produced by two of Nashville's power producers, James Stroud (Toby Keith, Alan Jackson) and Mark Bright (Rascal Flatts, Peter
Cetera). In addition, Bill Edwards, Chairman and CEO of Big3 Records, produced several tracks along with co-producer Jason Pennock, Joey's brother.
The album's first single "Swinging Door," is an infectious, "woman's point of view" anthem, produced by Mark Bright.
The pre-show warm-up begins at 6:00pm on Saturday. A gigantic TI Five-O Golden Anniversary fireworks blowout wraps up Sun, Sand & Symphony on both nights.
The United States Coast Guard will have a "fly over" on Saturday evening.
