Rachel Farris
Soak, Rachel Farris's debut CD, represented her search for what is real via a collection of instant
pop-rock classics. The album is sequenced to form a thematic arc that coincides with her
experiences--it kicks off with plucky anthems that feed off the energy of frustration, segues into
thoughtful, quiet self-discovery songs and winds up bursting with promise. Rachel was also selected
as the launch artist to kick off an innovative and new form of music delivery which started June 27,
2003 called, LidRock. LidRock, a mini enhanced CD, contained two tracks from Farris' album and
was given out free to over 3 million consumers affixed to the lids of the fountain drinks purchased
when attending Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres, Edwards Theatres and select Hoyts Cinemas
during the peak movie going month of July. An additional 700,000 lids were given away at Universal
Theme Parks in July and August.
